Competition Format and Finals Workings:

If the Competition is an 7/8 team competition or more.

Each team will play 6/7 group games with a Top 4 Semi Final series of 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.

If the competition is a 6 team comp.

Each team will play each other once, so 5 group games.

To ensure all teams get value for money and extra games, we have introduced “The Play Offs”

At the conclusion of the group stages - the Playoffs Commence where the Top 3 (Cup) and Bottom 3 (Plate) will split.

Teams who finished 1/2/3 will play each other giving each team a further 2 games and the same process for the bottom 3 teams.

After those 2 games (3 rounds) the top 2 teams will qualify for The Cup Grand Final and The Plate Grand Final.

The team who finishes 3rd in both the Plate and The Cup groups will be eliminated.

There will be a Grand Final for both the Cup and Plate Groups.

Finals Football Rules:

  • If the game ends in a draw, extra time will be required. There will be a 3 minute turnaround time / break until extra time starts.

  • 5 Minutes of extra time with no half time break with Golden Goal.

  • Penalty shoot out to decide winner.
